About the event

The Annual Minority Mental Health Awareness Symposium is the cornerstone of Take The Moment's community outreach dedicated to addressing the unique mental health experiences within minority communities.

Guided by this year’s theme, Reimagining Mental Health: Breaking Stigma, Strengthening Cultural Competency, and Bridging the Gap Between Community and Advocacy, this community event creates a space for honest dialogue, interactive engagement and culturally grounded healing. This gathering brings together families, community leaders, wellness practitioners and advocates to deepen understanding, enhance awareness, elevate lived experiences and promote mental health aids that honors culture, identity and the community's voice.
